County Waltz 2025
After the dry and sunny start to April the 25 teams playing in the Waltz faced a blustery and cool day at The Nottinghamshire but no rain or hailstorms this year! The Championship course provided a stern challenge for everyone especially on the greens and I believe quite a few golf balls found there way into the water around the course! Well done to the winning team of Emma Horsnall, Helen Norris and Emma Ball from Oakmere Admirals with a very creditable 73 points. The full results can be found HERE

Thank you also to Suzi Anderson, Junior Coordinator and Laura Sheppard, Assistant Junior Coordinator for organising the Club Cleaning Fund Raiser with the junior girls. The girls worked hard all day cleaning clubs and trollies, they are a lovely group and it was good to see them at one of our main events. Thanks to all of you who supported their efforts and helped them to raise £300.
Our next competition is the County Championship and Spring Meeting at Worksop GC on May 9th. The County Championship has attracted a strong field with the top 8 qualifying for the match play stages on the 10th and 11th May. Spectators are very welcome to come and watch the matches, there will be some high quality golf played.
The Spring Meeting is also still open for entries and is a great chance to play a premier Nottingham course for just £18.
